Do you take walk-in appointments?
All rehab sessions are by appointment only. Please call (212) 222-0010 or email to set up an appointment.
I already have a diagnosis from my vet, does my dog still require the initial consultation prior to starting the rehab sessions?
Yes, the initial consultation is a 1-hour comprehensive physical exam to assess your pet’s injury as well as any compensatory issues that may be occurring. The information gathered during our initial consultation is used to create an individualized rehabilitation plan for your pet.
Does the initial consultation include the first rehab session?
No, following the initial consultation we like to take the time to create an individualized rehabilitation plan for your pet. We will discuss scheduling and pricing for the rehab sessions at the end of the consultation.
My dog is reactive towards other dogs and/or people, can I still bring them for rehab?
Yes, we only schedule up to two dogs at a time in the rehab. If your dog cannot be scheduled with another dog due to behavioral concerns, we can accommodate a private session as the schedule permits. All of our staff are well trained to work with animals with various behavioral issues. The safety of your pet and our staff is always our priority.
Do you take pet insurance?
Every insurance plan is different in what they will cover. We recommend that you call your pet insurance provider to verify that rehab is covered in your policy. If it is covered, we can send you the necessary medical records and invoices in order to submit your claim. Please click here for more information about Pet Insurance.
